@thinkymachines released Inkling 2 Small, and tbh I am quite impressed by what the model seems capable of. This is a MoE (Mixture-of-Experts) model with 594B total and 17B active parameters, supporting image inputs and variable effort. It's good at agentic coding, autoresearch, vision and design. It performs similar or better than models in the same league like GLM-5.3-Flash and DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash. Weights will be released under Apache2.0 next week after the external safety testing and red-teaming is complete. Looking forward to test this one 🤩
