most "Nx less compute" benchmarks are useless , this one is set up properly 1M events/sec from Kafka into Iceberg for a full hour , every engine shrunk to the smallest fleet that still kept table lag under 90s at p95 , and correctness checked against the produced data , not against what the engine reports about itself the harness is public (ingest-bench) so if you run Spark or Flink pipelines , rerun it on your own setup before trusting anyone's chart , mine included matters more now that agents hit tables all day instead of a few dashboards every morning https://www.eon.io/blog/introduci
