Build Log #23: I rebuilt HackerBooks from 12 comments, and the 2-person rule did all the filtering. HN comment dump → a 2-person rule → a static JSON file → a site that loads a 30KB index first: that chain produced 16,500 books, a downloadable dataset, and three copycat builds in 48 hours. It started when I opened the Show HN thread expecting a demo and found a build log instead. The author, roansh, wrote plainly that Claude built almost all of it, Opus 5.5, pipeline and site included, and that he mostly steered. So I did the smallest honest version of the same test myself.
