As annotation costs come down, turning human video into robot training data becomes much more practical. Perceptron says Egocentric 1.0 delivers near-Astra quality for task annotations at $9 per hour of video, versus about $76 for Astra. That’s roughly one-eighth the cost. Its self-service API also offers 2D and 3D hand tracking, plus separate action timelines for each hand and robot gripper.
