The second Beta release (0.6) of The Lunduke Computer Operating System (LCOS) is now available for download. The big news: LCOS now has its own, custom Linux kernel. Based on the latest Linux Kernel, without the Rust. You could say it's... stainless. For this release, the new "Lunduke" kernel is optional (with the previously used, upstream 6.x kernel remaining default on the ISO) while it undergoes some additional testing. There's also a new text editor in the repository (Lunduke Edit), which more closely follows the LCOS vision. Basically a lot of great opportunities to put my name on
