This bug is caused by shadow rays exiting the 64m^3 (1024^3 texel) volume before they pass the sharp edge (left side). SDF distance estimator (https://www.shadertoy.com/view/lsKcDD) fails to calculate the correct opening angle. Artifact is visible as banding. Same happens with ceiling windows.
