And once the model is downloaded, it can run entirely on your machine. Whether you already use local models or you’ve just been thinking about trying them, the setup inside Hermes is basically a breeze. Go to: Settings → Providers → Local Models Then: • Install the local runtime • Pick the model you want • Check how it fits your hardware • Download it • Click Use That’s pretty much it. Hermes manages the llama.cpp runtime
