Unity built an AI agent that continuously looks for performance problems inside its production model-serving stack. FlashVector works across GPU kernels, computation graphs, C++ model-server code, and Python feature processing. It profiles each layer, finds a bottleneck, proposes a change, and verifies the result under production-like load. After deployment on Unity's Vector advertising platform, the paper reports up to 2× higher model-server throughput and up to 1.6× higher feature-store throughput. https://arxiv.org/pdf/2609.17391
