We benchmarked 4 web search APIs against each other. The indexes barely overlap. 20 queries, 5 categories, 4 APIs: Tavily, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Telnyx Web Search. Brave was fastest: 561ms avg, zero errors. Telnyx second at 1,027ms, also zero errors. Tavily returned the richest snippets (1,081 chars vs 322) but was also slowest. DuckDuckGo failed on 8 of 20 queries. The finding nobody advertises: only 13% of URLs overlapped between Tavily and Telnyx. 4 search APIs are looking at 4 different webs. If your agent's research matters, running two and deduplicating is not paranoia. Full br
