Headers can show 100, 200, and 300—and still fail to answer: “What was revenue in 2026?” For multi-dimensional tabular questions, don’t give the agent a shallow view. Give it a queryable interface. SQLite can interpret a CSV directly, so the file becomes something the agent can query. The broader pattern: translate the task into an interface the agent already knows well. Less guessing from columns. More asking the data. If your agent struggles with spreadsheets, change the interface before changing the model.
